Logues Shoes: A Galway Family Business Since 1921
In 2021, we marked 100 years of Logues Shoes in Eyre Square. It was a chance to look back at the people, the shop and the generations of customers who have been part of our story.
How it began
Frank and Delia Logue first opened on High Street in Galway around 1912. In 1921, they bought Roche’s Bar in Eyre Square and made it the home of Logues Shoes.
Footwear and shopping habits have changed enormously since then, but the Galway shop remains at the centre of the business. Today Logues is in its third generation of family ownership, with a team helping customers find footwear that suits them.
